Cirrus clouds?

An empty rain gauge, 74ºF, and a wind of 8-12 mph greeted me at 5:30 AM this morning. The forecast for today is more of the same, lots of sunshine under partly cloudy skies and a high in the low 90's. I'm beginning to notice that we usually don't get quite as warm as forecast. In the summer that is a good thing.

The low today was 73ºF and the high was 89º. Partly cloudy all day with lots of sunshine.

The rain gauge was empty at 5:30 AM and the temperature was 75ºF. Winds were 8-12 mph according to the Beaufort scale under partly cloudy skies.

The forecast for today is for partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 90's with winds 10-20 mph.

The low today was 73ºF and the high was 87ºF. Partly cloudy and breezy with lots of sunshine.

The temperature at 5:30 AM was 74ºF. The sky was partly cloudy and winds were estimated to be 8-12 mph according to the Beaufort Scale. There was 0.09" of rain and a bumblebee in the rain gauge. I'm not sure why the bumblebee decided to crawl into the gauge, but it was a tactical error that cost it it's life.

The forecast for today is 90º and partly cloudy skies and winds 10 -20 mph.

The low for today was 73ºF and the high was 87ºF.

No rain in the gauge at 5:30 AM. The temperature was 70ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is highs in the upper 80's and 30% chance of thunderstorms.

A thunderstorm came through about 6 AM and dropped 0.09" of rain in the gauge.

The low for today was 69ºF and the high was 86ºF. The early thunderstorm referenced above was the only rain for today, the rest of the day was partly cloudy.

There was no rain in the gauge. The temperature at 5:30 AM was 64ºF, the sky was clear, the wind was calm.

The forecast for today is temperatures in the mid 80's and partly cloudy skies and 20% chance of thunderstorms.

The low for today was 63ºF and the high was 83ºF.

Clouds beginning to break up at 5:45 AM.

The rain gauge had 0.25" of rain from a thunderstorm that came through during the early AM hours today. The 5:30 AM temperature was 66ºF with mostly cloudy skies (just a couple of small areas where the sky could be seen). The winds were mainly 1-3 mph with occasional gusts to 4-12 mph.

The forecast for today is temperatures in the mid 80's and a 30% chance of rain, mainly in the morning.

The low for today was 65º F and the high was 81ºF. There were thunderstorms in the area in the afternoon but they missed us.
