There was 2.52" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:50 AM temperature was 66ºF, the sky was cloudy with rain falling and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph. Strong thunderstorms came through around 2 AM this morning and again at 4 AM and yet again around 5AM with heavy rain and lightening. It was still raining a little at 5:50 when I checked the gauge.
The forecast for today is for a low in the low 50's, a high in the low 70's, with cloudy skies and a 90% chance of thunderstorms, though for the morning it looks like the majority of the rain will be to our south.
The low today was 58º F and the high was 73º F. It was cloudy with mist and or drizzle at times throughout the morning. In the afternoon it cleared to partly cloudy with winds estimated to be 8-12 mph until calming by nightfall.

A strong thunderstorm came through around 5 AM this morning with heavy rain, lightening and some hail (heard but not seen). It was still raining at 5:30 when I checked the gauge.
