The most rain recorded in Tennessee was 1.91" in Howenwald.
The most rain in Texas was 0.43" in Electra.
Azel had the most rain in Tarrant County, Texas with 0.29", and 12 of the 15 stations in Tarrant County reported at least a trace of rain.
So far 5120 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 7.02" at Overland Park, Kansas.

Westmoreland Weather
The rain gauge was empty this morning, the 5:30 AM temperature was 73ºF, the sky was partly cloudy, and no wind was observed.
The forecast for today is for highs around 90, partly cloudy skies, and a 30% chance of showers.
The Low for today was 73ºF and the High was 89ºF. Showers went north and south of us in the afternoon, then a shower dropped a little rain(about 0.02") around 9PM. More rain fell in the AM on 7/31 before (and during) the 5:30 AM rain gauge check.

The most rain recorded in Tennessee was 2.17" at Jamestown.
The most rain in Texas was 1.79" in Stratford.
No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5124 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 4.35" at Scottsville, Kentucky. (This station is probably about 15 miles from my location and I had no rain recorded for 7/29.)

Todays low was 70ºF and the high was 87ºF. It was clear or mostly clear a good portion of the day, but in the early afternoon the sky became dark as a thunderstorm passed nearby. The storm was within a mile of our location to the south of us.

The most rain in Texas was 3.26" in El Paso.
No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 4261 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 6.58" at Sunspot, New Mexico. Otero County New Mexico has 6 of the top 10 reports, 5 with more than 4" of rain.

The most rain recorded in Tennessee was 3.25" in Clifton.
The most rain in Texas was 0.57" in Fort Davis.
No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 4388 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 3.25" at Clifton, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Florida. (An entry for Cameron Park, Texas of 7.20" appeared to be for 7/22/2008 thru 7/24/2008, not sure why it was entered for this date, maybe inexperienced station. Entry for Sunland Park, New Mexico for 3.32 was confusing and I couldn't tell for sure when the actual reading took place and what time period it covered, so I left it out. The next most rain in New Mexico was 1.75" in Silver City.)

The forecast for today is for highs in the upper 80's, partly cloudy skies, and 50% chance of showers.
The low for today was 72ºF and the high was 86ºF. There were showers in the morning that left 0.22" of rain between 5:30 AM and 8;30 AM. The sky was partly cloudy by the time we got home from church around 1PM.

The most rain in Texas was 4.88" in New Braunfels.
No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5185 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 12.15" at Kirksville, Missouri. (This station reported that their rain gauge overflowed and they did not record all the rain that fell. They said it had rained for all but 2 of the 31 hours preceding their 7 AM reading.)
