Sky at 10 AM
At 5:30 AM the temperature was 61ºF and it was raining. It had been raining what sounded like a slow steady rain for awhile. I checked my watch the first time I heard it, but I've now forgotten what time it was. The rain gauge had 0.16" in it at 5:30 AM. There were no winds at 5:30 AM and I wasn't awoken by thunder so I don't think we had any thunderstorms. At 10:00 AM the temperature is 54ºF and the wind is 8-12 mph, so it has cooled off since 5:30 AM and it is forecast to 70ºF for the high today. The sky is beginning to clear, and the sun is peeking out occasionally. Nancy saw a Rose Breasted Grosbeak at our feeders this morning, the first we've seen this spring.
The low for today was 49ºF and the high was 70ºF.
