The most precipitation reported in Tennessee is a mystery to me. We just don't report snow very well with many of the precipitation amounts obviously really snow amounts. There were 222 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was 6.4" at Madisonville.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.05" at Westmoreland. The most new snow was 1.2" at Bethpage and Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.71" at Nederland. There were 352 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.

The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 0.03" at Linden, Port Huron, Shelby, and Waterford. There were 82 reports from Michigan. The most new snow was 0.7" at Litchfield and Traverse City.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee is a mystery to me. We just don't report snow very well with many of the precipitation amounts obviously really snow amounts. There were 220 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was 4.5" at Cleveland (from 8 PM) and the comment said it was really 7", though this person could stand rereading the snow reporting instructions. The 4.5" was in line with 12/26 AM reports from Bradley count, so is probably close.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.15" at Westmoreland. The most new snow was 2.8" at Westmoreland (a different station).
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.62" at Whitesboro. There were 535 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 1.02" at Bedford and Watauga.

The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 0.19" at Chatham. There were 82 reports from Michigan. The most new snow was 2.1" at Chatham.
No precipitation was reported in Berrien County, Michigan.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was ? (it seems obvious that the snow causes a lot of confusion on how to report, some report snow as the precipitation amount and others seem to take there amount of snow and divide by 10 to get the amount of precipitation and others mystify me as to what they are reporting. It is a guess as to how much rain would have fallen in different locations before the snow, so I won't try to decipher the correct amounts.) There were 293 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was perhaps the 15.0" at Monterey or maybe the 11.0" at Cookville, or maybe even the 9.0" at Jamestown. I'm pretty sure the 25.0" at Dover with 0.02" of water is not correct.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 2.61" at Cookville. There were 316 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was 2.2" at Erwin.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 1.75" at Gallatin. There was a trace of snow reported at Bethpage, Gallatin, and Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was a trace at Bee Cave, Lufkin, Lumberton, Kirbyville, and Waskom. There were 413 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.

Westmoreland Weather
There was 1.00" of precipitation in the gauge this morning (mostly from rain, there was just a trace of sleet/snow on the ground) . The 5:00 AM temperature was 29º F, there were no stars visible (cloudy), a very light snow was falling, and winds were estimated to be 19-24 mph. The barometer reading was -0.36" since yesterday. (29.63 inches Hg on non calibrated barometer).
