The gauge was empty at 5:30 AM, the temperature was 71ºF, the sky was mostly clear, and the gentle breeze was estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for temperatures around 90º and a 20% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

A mouse ate the spark plug wire on my riding mower. Pesky rodent! Travis couldn't get it started last week and when we got back from Florida I tried to start it and noticed mouse nest debris under the engine cover. Finally got around to trying to clean that out last evening and found the mouse had pretty much ate through the spark plug wire. Nancy will try to find us a new wire today, hope I don't have to order one from Kohler, no telling how long that will take. We haven't mowed in two weeks but the grass isn't too out of control due to the small amount of precipitation we've received in June.

The low for today was 69ºF and the high was 89ºF. Lots of sunshine, thunderstorms were mainly to the east of us.
