There was 0.39" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:00 AM temperature was 62º F, there were some stars visible (partly cloudy) and winds were estimated to be 8-12 mph with some stronger gusts. The barometer reading was -0.05" since yesterday. (29.96 inches Hg on non calibrated barometer).

Forecast
Today
The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 50's, a high in the low 70's, with cloudy skies and a 40% chance of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds will be from the southwest at around 20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Before midnight there is a near 100% chance of showers or thunderstorms and a chance of showers after midnight.

The low today was 41º F and the high was 69º F. It was mostly cloudy at 7 AM and it was cloudy with a light rain at 9:30 PM. A line of thunderstorms came through in the late afternoon and then showers followed. It appears there was some from freezing rain as the system finished moving through.

The forecast for tomorrow is for a low in the low 30's and a high in the low 40's with mostly cloudy skies clearing to clear by evening.

The forecast for the day after tomorrow is for a low in the upper 20's and a high in the low 50's with clear skies.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 2.52" at Crossville. There were 305 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.47" at Bethpage.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.22" at Houston. There were 452 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a trace at Mansfield.

The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 0.15" at Kalamazoo. There were 119 reports from Michigan. The most new snow reported was 1.0" at Ellsworth.
No precipitation was reported in Berrien County, Michigan.
So far 6453 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 2.52" at Crossville, Tennessee.
