2/8/2011 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.95" at Oakland. There were 275 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow reported was 5.0" at Dover, Troy, and Union City.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.45" at Westmoreland. The most new snow reported was 1.5" at Bethpage.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was a trace at Dalhart and Richland Hills. There were 457 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a trace at Richland Hills.


The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 0.25" at New Buffalo. There were 98 reports from Michigan. The most new snow reported was 5.0" at Stevensville.
The most precipitation reported in Berrien County, Michigan was 0.25" New Buffalo. The most new snow was 5.0" at Stevensville.

So far 6398 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 2.62" at Jacksonville, Florida.

Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.31" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The precipitation was from rain starting around 1 PM which changed to snow and 1.4" of snow which fell between 2 PM and 7 PM on 2/7. There was 1.0" of snow on the ground this morning. The 4:30 AM temperature was 25ºF, there were a few stars visible (cloudy or mostly cloudy), and winds were calm. The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.96" at Brentwood. There were 258 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow reported was 1.2" at Dickson.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.22" at Westmoreland.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.82" at Center. There were 489 reports from Texas. The most new snow reported was 1.8" at Lubbock.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.18" at Fort Worth.

The forecast for today is for a low in the low 30's, a high in the low 40's, with cloudy skies. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was a trace at Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Westmoreland.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.40" at Amarillo. There were 353 reports from Texas. The most new snow reported was 3.0" at Amarillo and Texline.
