Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.38" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 73ºF, the sky was cloudy with a little rain and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph. A brief but strong thunderstorm came through at about 2:45 AM. Most of the rain fell then. Sometime before 3:30 AM we lost our power and it was still out at 5:30 AM when I left for work.
The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 60's, a high in the mid 80's, mostly cloudy skies, southwest winds 10-15 mph and a 60% chance of showers or thunderstorms, some possibly severe.
The low today was 66º F and the high was 80º F. It was cloudy most of the day with a couple of thunderstorms, one in the late morning and one around 9:30 PM.
Last year on the 11th the low was 63º F, the high was 87º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.72" at Jackson. There were 325 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.35" at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.11" at Westover Hills. There were 439 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 1.11" at Westover Hills.
So far 6576 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.75" at Lillington, North Carolina.
No new snow was reported.
The most snow reported on the ground was 1.0" at Soda Springs, California.
