There was 1.14" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 67ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 50's, a high in the low 70's, cloudy skies, and north winds 5-10 mph and a 80% chance of rain.

The low was 58º F and the high was 70º F. There were a few mild showers in the early evening.

Last year on the 4th the low was 73º F, the high was 87º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.60" at Ripley. There were 353 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 1.29" at Hendersonville.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.85" at Santa Anna. There were 659 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 2.82" at Edgecliff.
So far 7452 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.25" at Lottsburg, Virginia.

The most new snow reported was 1.0" at Idaho Springs, Colorado.
No snow was reported on the ground.
