Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.06" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 73ºF, the sky was partly cloudy and winds were estimated to be 8-12 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 60's, a high in the upper 80's, partly cloudy skies, and southwest winds 10-15 mph. There is a 60% chance of showers or thunderstorms.

The low today was 72º F and the high was 82º F. It was partly cloudy to mostly cloudy during most of the day with a line of thunderstorms coming through Middle Tennessee during the midday and passing over us between noon and 1 PM.

8/19/2009 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.92" at Bartlett. There were 334 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.69" at Gallatin.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.04" at Gilmer. There were 473 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a trace at Westover Hills.
So far 6873 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.33" at Benton, Arkansas. This was the only report over 4".
