There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:00 AM temperature was 69º F, there were some stars visible (partly cloudy or mostly cloudy), and winds were estimated to be 8-12 mph. The barometer reading was -0.02" since yesterday morning. (29.90 inches Hg on non calibrated barometer.)

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 60's and a high in the upper 70's with mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be from the south at 15-25 mph with gusts to 45 mph. There is a 80% chance of showers or thunderstorms, mainly after 1 PM with severe thunderstorms possible. There is a 50% chance of showers or thunderstorms overnight before 1 AM.

The low today was 57ºF and the high was 76ºF. There were thunderstorms and showers during the day and it was raining with a little lightning at 6:15 PM. The lightning ended for the most part by 8:30 PM, but showers continued through much of the night.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.86" at Erwin. There were 237 reports from Tennessee. 
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.02" at Austin. There were 354 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.

The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 1.85" at Tawas City. There were 110 reports from Michigan.  
The most precipitation reported in Berrien County, Michigan was a trace at Buchanan, Niles, and St. Joseph.

So far 6032 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 2.18" at Gastonia, North Carolina.

The most new snow reported was 8.0" at Show Low, Arizona.
The most snow reported on the ground was 69.0" at Crested Butte, Colorado (No report from Soda Springs, California.)
