No rain in the rain gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 70ºF, the sky was mostly cloudy, and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a high around 80, mostly cloudy skies, and a 40% chance of showers.

The low last year was 72ºF and the high was 86ºF and there was a trace of rain recorded on CoCoRaHS for our station.

9/8/2008 CoCoRaHS reports (as of time of blog entry) -
The most rain reported in Tennessee was a trace (less than 0.01") at Loretta and Ardmore. There were 313 reports from Tennessee.
The most rain recorded in Texas was 2.04" at Kingsville. There were 428 reports from Texas.
No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5699 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 2.68" at Pleasant Valley , Missouri.
