Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.09" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 55º F, it was cloudy and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 30s and a high in the mid 60s with a near 100% chance of rain, with the best chance of rain this morning.

The low today was 46º F and the high was 75º F. It was cloudy most of the day and a line of strong storms passed at about 7:15 PM to 7:40 PM with strong winds and heavy rain. Fortunately we did not have any damaging winds or significant hail as some areas in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky did.

Last year on the 28th the low was 41º F, the high was 66º F, and 0.05" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.62" at Huntland. There were 335 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.17" at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.31" at Sugar Land. There were 584 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.02" at several locations.
So far, 6149 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 9.33" at Gray, Louisiana.

The most new snow reported was 20.4" at Kassler, Colorado.
