Westmoreland Weather
There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 20º F, it was clear and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph with stronger gusts.

The forecast for today is for the low in the mid teens and the high in the mid 30s with clear skies.

The low today was 19º F and the high was 35º F and the sky was clear or mostly clear all day.

Last year on the 2nd the low was 18º F, the high was 46º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station. The 2nd of March was the first date blooming daffodils were observed on our property last year.

3/1/2009 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.80" at Jackson. This station reported 12.5" of snow. The most snow reported was 14.0" at Ripley. There were 324 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.58" at Hendersonville.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.04" at Corpus Christi. There were 322 reports from Texas.
There was no precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far, 5030 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 3.75" at Waycross, Georgia.

The most new snow reported was 14.0" at Ripley, Tennessee.
The most snow reported on the ground was 68.0" at Crested Butte, Colorado.

Looks like you are located just west of Macon County on the state line. I am station # TN-CY-3 located just east of Macon County on the state line. Nice website.

Yep, looks like we bookend Macon county. I'll have to check out your station on CoCoRaHS when the weather is interesting to see how you compare to me. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for doing CoCoRaHS.
