Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.51" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 70ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm. It was raining.
The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 50's, a high in the mid 70's, cloudy skies and west winds 5 - 10 mph. There is a 100% chance of showers or thunderstorms today, with most of the rain this morning.
The low today was 61º F and the high was 73º F. It rained a moderate rain all morning and there was 0.44" in the gauge when I got home between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM. It rained a heavy rain at about 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM and that put the gauge at about 0.90". Another brief storm came through from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM or so.
Last year on the 26th the low was 50ºF, the high was 77ºF, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 2.45" (corrected 9/27 from typing error of 12.45") at Jackson. There were 324 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 1.25" at Portland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.93" at Seguin. There were 592 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.02" at Edgecliff.
So far 6906 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 3.58" at Lawrenceville, Illinois and Paoli, Indiana.
The most new snow reported was 1.0" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
The most snow reported on the ground was 2.0" at Conifer, Colorado.
