There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. There was a trace of snow on the ground. The 5:30 AM temperature was 30º F, the sky was cloudy, winds were calm. The barometer reading was unchanged since yesterday's reading. (29.87 in Hg on non calibrated barometer).

Today
The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 20's, a high in the upper 30's , cloudy skies, and south winds 5-10 mph. There is a 70% chance of snow today. There is a good chance of snow this morning changing to rain and/or snow rain mix this afternoon, then changing back to snow tonight with around an inch of accumulation during the day and another 2 inches overnight.

The low today was 26º F and the high was 38º F. It was cloudy with snow flurries in the morning and light rain in the afternoon.

Monday
The forecast for tomorrow is for a low in the upper teens and a high in the upper 20's with cloudy skies and a 70% chance of snow. Another inch or so accumulation is possible.

Tuesday
The forecast for the day after tomorrow is for a low in low 20's and a high in the mid 30's with mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow flurries.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.28" at Madisonville. There was 2.0" of new snow at Etowah. There were 246 reports from Tennessee.
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.35" at Bastrop. There were 415 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5461 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 3.63" at Brookings, Oregon.


The most new snow reported was 9.0" at Harkers Island, North Carolina.
The most snow reported on the ground was 70.0" at Kingvale, California.
