There was a trace of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 49º F, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm.

Wind damage to a Bradford Pear tree in front yard. Fortunately it fell away from the house and did no damage to the house.

There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning but I am recording a trace because of a few sprinkles that were around yesterday. The rain stayed a few miles north of us in South Central Kentucky. The 5:30 AM temperature was 61º F, the sky was cloudy and winds were estimated to be 19-24 mph with stronger gusts.
The forecast for today is for the low in the low 40s and the high in the mid 60s with a near 100% chance of rain. A wind advisory is in effect until 6 PM CST.
The low today was 52º F and the high was 68º F. The line of storms came through Westmoreland around 1 PM, we got 0.27" of rain and part of a Bradford Pear tree blew down.
