Memorial Day
Today is a special day to reflect on the freedom and liberty of our country and the sacrifices so many individuals and families have made to ensure that we, our children, and our fellow citizens have freedom to continue to search for the truths that God has made available to each of us.

5/30/2010 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.51" at Niota. There were 275 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.02" at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.24" at Katy. There were 406 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 6242 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 3.66" at Douglas, Georgia.


No new snow was reported.
No snow was reported on the ground (though we know there still is some at stations that regularly report in California such as Kingvale and Soda Springs.)
