There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 63º F, the sky was clear, and winds were calm. The barometer reading was unchanged since yesterday. (29.91 in Hg on non calibrated barometer).

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 50's, a high in the mid 80's , with clear skies and southwest winds 15-25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Tonight there is a 50% chance of rain.

The low today was 62º and the high was 83º F. It was clear in the morning, then partly cloudy for awhile, then clear through the late afternoon, then increased clouds to mostly cloudy by sunset. A sprinkle around 8 PM was observed.

No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was a 0.01" at Austwell. There were 452 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 6712 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 5.95" at Ocala, Florida(according to the CoCoRaHS note, this amount was originally reported as being on 5/5, then switched to 5/6)
. There were 2 reports of 4" or more from Ocala.
