Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.11" of precipitation in the gauge this morning (from 4.9" of snow, it was very windy so the amount of snow that made it into the gauge was not the total amount of snow that fell, there 0.19" of water in my snow core sample). The 5:00 AM temperature was 14º F, there were no stars visible (cloudy), a snow flurry was taking place, and winds were estimated to be 19-24 mph. The barometer reading was +0.19" since yesterday. (29.82 inches Hg on non calibrated barometer).

Forecast
Today
The forecast for today is for a low in the low teens, a high in the upper teens, with cloudy skies becoming mostly clear during the day. Winds will be from the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. There is a chance of snow flurries before noon.

The low today was 7º F and the high was 19º F. It was cloudy until around 8:30 AM, then cleared to partly cloudy the rest of the day with some periods of mostly clear. There were snow flurries before 7 AM.

Tuesday
The forecast for tomorrow is for a low around 9º F and a high in the low 20's with mostly clear skies. There is a 20% chance of snow after midnight.

Wednesday
The forecast for the day after tomorrow is for a low in the upper teens and a high in the low 30's with cloudy skies. There is a 60% chance of snow after noon, then a 70% chance of snow and freezing rain mix Wednesday night.

12/12/2010 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 2.61" at Cookville. There were 316 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was 2.2" at Erwin.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 1.75" at Gallatin. There was a trace of snow reported at Bethpage, Gallatin, and Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was a trace at Bee Cave, Lufkin, Lumberton, Kirbyville, and Waskom. There were 413 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.

The most precipitation reported in Michigan was 1.19" at Reed City. There were 116 reports from Michigan. The most new snow was 10.1" at Wellston.
The most precipitation reported in Berrien County, Michigan was 0.65" at Niles. The most new snow reported was 0.3" at New Buffalo.
