5/7/2010 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports that looked legitimate as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.05" at Friendsville. There were 260 reports from Tennessee.
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was a trace at Kendalia. There were 418 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 6790 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported was 2.55" at Princeton, Missouri.
The most new snow reported was 10.0" at Ashland, Montana.
The most snow reported on the ground was 23.5" at Anchorage, Alaska.
There was a trace of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 54º F, the sky was clear, and winds were estimated to be 4-7 mph with stronger gusts. The barometer reading was +0.04 since yesterday. (29.95 in Hg on non calibrated barometer).

There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 63º F, the sky was clear, and winds were calm. The barometer reading was unchanged since yesterday. (29.91 in Hg on non calibrated barometer).

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 50's, a high in the mid 80's , with clear skies and southwest winds 15-25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Tonight there is a 50% chance of rain.
The low today was 62º and the high was 83º F. It was clear in the morning, then partly cloudy for awhile, then clear through the late afternoon, then increased clouds to mostly cloudy by sunset. A sprinkle around 8 PM was observed.

The most new snow reported was 13.0" at Red Lodge, Montana.
The most snow reported on the ground was 24.5" at Anchorage, Alaska.
