Westmoreland Weather
The rain gauge was empty this morning, the 5:30 AM temperature was 73ºF, the sky was partly cloudy, and no wind was observed.

The forecast for today is for highs around 90, partly cloudy skies, and a 30% chance of showers.

The Low for today was 73ºF and the High was 89ºF. Showers went north and south of us in the afternoon, then a shower dropped a little rain(about 0.02") around 9PM. More rain fell in the AM on 7/31 before (and during) the 5:30 AM rain gauge check.

7/29/2008 CoCoRaHS reports (as of time of blog entry) -

The most rain recorded in Tennessee was 2.17" at Jamestown.

The most rain in Texas was 1.79" in Stratford.

No rain was recorded in Tarrant County, Texas.

So far 5124 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of rain was 4.35" at Scottsville, Kentucky. (This station is probably about 15 miles from my location and I had no rain recorded for 7/29.)
