Westmoreland Weather
The rain gauge was empty this morning, but we had a brief shower that didn't get anything in the gauge but dropped a few drops a little after 4 PM yesterday, so the official CoCoRaHS report for today was a trace (less than 0.01"). The 5:30 AM temperature was 68ºF, the sky was mostly clear, and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for highs in the upper 80's and partly cloudy skies.

The low for today was 67ºF and the high was 86ºF. The sky ranged from clear to mostly cloudy during the day, with the predominant condition probably partly cloudy.

Weather Fact
A cyclone is an atmospheric circulation of winds rotating clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. Tornadoes, hurricanes, and the lows shown on weather maps are all examples of cyclones of various size and intensity. Cyclones are usually accompanied by precipitation or stormy weather.(2008 The World Almanac and Book of Facts.)

CoCoRaHS
CoCoRaHS is a volunteer system where average people who like weather can record the precipitation at their location and help various climate researchers better understand precipitation patterns. For more information, go to the CoCoRaHS web site.
