Westmoreland Weather
There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 49ºF, the sky was mostly clear and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 40's, a high in the low 70s, and cloudy skies and a 70% chance of rain, mainly in the afternoon. There may be severe thuderstorms.

The low today was 47º F and the high was 78º F. The thunderstorms came through Westmoreland sometime after 3 PM. It rained pretty much till sometime after 9:30 PM, then rained some more through the night. Nashville may have had a tornado and there were 5000 homes without power in Nashville at 9PM, but no injuries had been reported at that time.

Last year on the 2nd the low was 35ºF, the high was 61ºF, and 0.01" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.82" at Newbern. There were 342 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.16" at Gallatin.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.47" at Shavano Park. There were 412 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5779 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 6.25" at Woodbine, Georgia.

The most new snow reported was 13.3" at Claremont, South Dakota.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 73.5" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
