Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.42" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 41ºF, the sky was cloudy with a very light mist and winds were estimated to be 4-7 mph with stronger gusts.

The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 20's, a high in the low 40's, and cloudy skies with a 50% chance of precipitation, scattered rain showers in the morning and rain and perhaps some snow mixed in this afternoon and evening.

The low today was 36º F and the high was 48º F. There were showers off and on all day and some snow showers and flurries late. The temperature stayed above freezing so there was little accumulation except on exposed surfaces.

Last year on the 6th the low was 47ºF, the high was 69ºF, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.10" at Murfreesboro. There were 254 reports from Tennessee.
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.01" at Castroville, Houston, and Jasper. There were 311 reports from Texas.

No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 4877 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 2.98" at Montgomery, Alabama.

The most new snow reported was 15.0" at Martin, South Dakota and Chugwater, Wyoming.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 74.0" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
