Westmoreland Weather
There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 55ºF, the sky was mostly cloudy and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 30's, a high in the mid 70's, and partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies in the morning and increasing cloudiness in the afternoon with a 50% chance of rain and the possibility of severe thunderstorms.

The low today was 47º F and the high was 77º F. A strong line of strorms came through around7:30 PM but we had no damage from the strong winds.

Last year on the 5th the low was 42ºF, the high was 54ºF, and 0.88" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.93" at Newbern. There were 271 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was a trace at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.10" at Onalaska. There were 322 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 4828 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 1.83" at Wolcott, New York.

The most new snow reported was 18.0" at Sheridan, Wyoming.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 70.0" at Soda Springs, California.
