There was a trace of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:00 AM temperature was 32º F, there were no stars visible (cloudy), and winds were calm. The barometer reading was +0.13" since yesterday morning. (29.91 inches Hg on non calibrated barometer).

Forecast
Today
The forecast for today is for a low in the low 30's, a high in the upper 30's, with cloudy skies. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. There is a 100% chance of snow after noon with up to an inch accumulation after noon. Tonight there is an 80% chance of snow with an additional accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. Snow should end by midnight except for possible flurries.

The low today was 22ºF and the high was 33ºF. The snow started mid afternoon and continued until about 8 PM. There was 1.9" on the ground when I got home at 8 PM and just a light snow mist was falling.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.10" at Petros. There were 294 reports from Tennessee. The most new snow was 0.2" at Springfield.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.38" at Westmoreland. The most new snow was a trace at Bethpage, Hendersonville, and Westmoreland.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.40" at Nederland. There were 457 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a trace at Blue Mound and Fort Worth.
