There was 0.39" of of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 58ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a low in the low 50's, a high in the mid 60's, with a 100% chance of showers or thundershowers.

The low today was 58º F and the high was 63º F. There were showers during the day, but gauge had only 0.18" of precipitation and a drowned spider in it when we got home between 4:30 and 5 PM.

Last year on the 3rd the low was 45º F, the high was 74º F, and 1.20" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 7.72" at Spring Hill. There were 366 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 3.03" at Hendersonville.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.32" at Granbury. There were 346 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5395 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 7.72" at Spring Hill, Tennessee.

The most new snow reported was 3.0" at Rock River, Wyoming.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 32.0" at Kingvale, California.
