There was 0.01" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 59ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 50's, a high in the upper 60's, with cloudy skies and a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms, some thunderstorms may be severe.

The low today was 58º F and the high was 69º F. There were showers in the morning, then mostly cloudy skies the rest of the day with winds in the late afternoon estimated to be 8-12 mph with some stronger gusts.

Last year on the 6th the low was 45º F, the high was 72º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.65" at Friendsville. There were 362 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.04" at Bethpage, Gallatin, and Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.23" at Waskom. There were 412 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a 0.05" at Blue Mound.
So far 6081 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.90" at Labadieville, Louisiana.

The most new snow reported was 10.0" at Paradise Ranger Station (Mount Rainier NP), Washington.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 30.0" at Kingvale, California.
