There was 0.49" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 64ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 60's, a high in the upper 70's, with partly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The low today was 64º F and the high was 79º F. It cleared to partly cloudy early and was partly cloudy during the day. Around 5 AM on 5/8 a severe thunderstorm came through with heavy rain, lightning, and a small amount of hail (heard but not seen).

Last year on the 7th the low was 62º F, the high was 81º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.83" at Germantown. There were 374 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.40" at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.85" at Whitesboro. There were 423 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was a 0.06" at Grand Prairie and Watauga.
So far 6390 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 5.35" at Charlotte, North Carolina.

The most new snow reported was 0.9" at Breckenridge, Colorado.
The greatest amount of snow on the ground was 29.0" at Kingvale, California.
