There was 4.03" in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 34ºF, rain was falling and winds were estimated to be 4-7 mph.

The forecast for today is for the low in the upper teens and the high in the low 30s with a 80% chance of sleet and snow with up to an inch accumulation.

Last year on the 28th the low was 24ºF, the high was 54ºF, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.60" at Erin. There were 344 reports from Tennessee.

The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.48" at Coppell. There were 458 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.23" at Arlington.
So far, 5166 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation reported that looked legitimate was 2.52" at Scottsville, Kentucky.

The most new snow reported was 9.5" at Juneau, Alaska.
The most snow reported on the ground was 63" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
