There was 1.34" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 70ºF, the sky was cloudy, and winds were estimated to be 1-3 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the low 60's, a high in the mid 80's, partly cloudy skies, and north winds 5-10 mph.

7/12/2009 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports at time of blog entry that looked like they might be legitimate) -

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.73" at Centerville. There were 306 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.21" at Gallatin.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 1.09" at Brownsville. There were 347 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5367 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 7.46" at Marion, Illinois. The other report of more than 4" of precipitation was also in Williamson County Illinois, the same county in Illinois as Marion.

No new snow was reported.
