7/27/2009 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports at time of blog entry that looked like they might be legitimate) -

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.96" at Sparta. There were 315 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Sumner County, Tennessee was 0.35" at Westmoreland.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.08" at Dalhart. There were 462 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 1.35" at North Richland Hills .
So far 6307 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.55" at Lake Placid, Florida. This was the only report over 4".

No new snow was reported.
