There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 62ºF, the sky was partly cloudy and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a low in the upper 60's, a high in the upper 80's, partly cloudy skies in the morning with increasing clouds through the afternoon, and south winds 5-10 mph. There is a 20% chance of rain in the afternoon and a 90% chance of rain tonight.

The low today was 62º F and the high was 82º F. It was partly cloudy or mostly cloudy throughout much of the day. A shower came through around 6 PM with a couple of hundredths of rain, then more lasting rain started about 9 PM with some lightning.

Last year on the 4th the low was 69º F, the high was 84º F, and 0.01" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.03" at Erwin. There were 249 reports from Tennessee.
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.11" at Los Fresnos. There were 374 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far 5702 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.90" at La Belle, Florida.
