Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.18" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 59ºF, the sky was mostly cloudy, and winds were calm.

The forecast for today is for a low in the mid 50's, a high in the mid 70's, partly cloudy skies in the morning becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon, and northwest winds 5-10 mph.

The low today was 56º F and the high was 71º F. It was cloudy until about 9 AM, then became partly cloudy. It was cloudy again when I got home around 1:30 PM and then cleared to partly cloudy by 6 PM.

Last year on the 18th the low was 66º F, the high was 88º F, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

7/17/2009 CoCoRaHS reports (from reports at time of blog entry that looked like they might be legitimate) -

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.91" at Mountain City. There were 288 reports from Tennessee.
No precipitation was reported in Sumner County, Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 2.97" at Hallsville. There were 462 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.30" at Crowley.
So far 6164 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.02" at Laurinburg, North Carolina. This was the only legitimate report of more than 4", though Wakeeney, Kansas had a bogus report of 53.00".
