There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 27ºF, the sky was cloudy, and winds were estimated to be 4-7 mph. There was a light frost.

The forecast for today is for the low and high to be around 40ºF with a 50% chance of rain (some possibly freezing in the morning) during the day and a 90% chance of rain tonight.

The low today was 22ºF and the high was 48ºF. It gradually warmed through the day and while there were some sprinkles during the day the rain came mostly after dark.

Last year on the 23rd the low was 44ºF, the high was 60ºF, and 0.32" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

No precipitation was reported in Tennessee. There were 274 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.40" at Brownsville. There were 327 reports from Texas.
No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far, 4741 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 4.20" at Felts Mills, New York.

The most new snow reported was 38.0" at Akron, New York. This seems a little high. Other locations in Erie county reported up to 18" of new snow.
The most snow reported on the ground was 37.0" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
