There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 26ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were calm. There was maybe a very light frost.

The forecast for today is for a low in the low 20's, a high in the low 40's, and mostly cloudy sky's.

The low today was 18ºF, the high was 42ºF, and it was mostly cloudy early, then partly cloudy the majority of the day.

Last year on the 6th the low was 28ºF, the high was 54ºF, and a trace (less than 0.01") of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.60" at Standing Stone State Park. The only new snow reported was 0.1" at Mascot. There were 299 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was a trace (less than 0.01") at Brownsville, Houston, and Lumberton. There were 302 reports from Texas.
There was no precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far, 5051 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 1.67" at Rockingham, North Carolina.

The most new snow reported was 13.1" at Lacona, New York.
The most snow reported on the ground was 49.5" at Stony River, Alaska.
