Westmoreland Weather
There was no precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 58ºF, the sky was cloudy and winds were estimated to be 13-18 mph.

The forecast for today is for a low in the low 30's, a high in the mid 50's, and a 100% chance of rain. There is a chance of up to 0.1" accumulation of freezing rain on exposed surfaces between midnight tonight and 9AM on Tuesday.

The low today was 29ºF and the high was 59ºF. The temperature dropped through the day and was about 32ºF at around 7PM when I got home. It was cloudy all day with rain showers. A light freezing rain, or more like a freezing mist, fell in the evening and put a glaze of ice on exposed surfaces.

Last year on the 15th the low was 31ºF, the high was 38ºF, and no precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

Weather Forecast for Oshkosh, Wisconsin
The forecast today is for a low around -4ºF, the high around 7ºF, and partly cloudy sky's.

CoCoRaHS
CoCoRaHS is a volunteer system where average people who like weather can record the precipitation at their location and help various climate researchers better understand precipitation patterns. For more information, go to the CoCoRaHS web site.

12/14/2008 CoCoRaHS reports (as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 0.03" at Clarksville. There were 257 reports from Tennessee.
The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.03" at Bunker Hill Village. There were 263 reports from Texas. No precipitation was reported in Tarrant County, Texas.
So far, 4567 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was something somewhere. A lot of people are mucking up their reports because they don't seem to follow instructions well on recording rain and snow and precipitation. I am just skipping this today.

The most new snow reported was 14" at Meacham, Oregon.
The most snow reported on the ground was 29.5" at Crested Butte, Colorado.
