Westmoreland Weather
There was 0.28" of precipitation in the gauge this morning. The 5:30 AM temperature was 64ºF, it was cloudy and winds were estimated to be 19-24 mph.

The forecast for today is for the low in the mid 40's and the high in the low 70's with mostly cloudy sky's and a 20% chance of rain during the day and a near 100% chance of rain tonight.

The low today was 62ºF and the high was 68ºF. It was cloudy most of the day. A line of rain came through around midnight to 1 AM on 12/28 and accounted for most of the rain that is reported for 12/28.

Last year on the 27th the low was 32ºF, the high was 55ºF, and 0.05" of precipitation was recorded for this CoCoRaHS station.

12/26/2008 CoCoRaHS reports (as of time of blog entry) -
The most precipitation reported in Tennessee was 1.59" at Cleveland. There were 297 reports from Tennessee. The most precipitation reported in Texas was 0.32" at Montgomery. There were 282 reports from Texas.
The most precipitation reported in Tarrant County, Texas was 0.01" at Crowley and Fort Worth.
So far, 4289 CoCoRaHS entries have been made and the greatest amount of precipitation was 1.59" at Stevenson, Washington and Cleveland, Tennessee. (A 19.00" report from Post Falls, Idaho was clearly bogus.)

The most new snow reported was 17.6" at Mount Crested Butte , Colorado.
The most snow reported on the ground was 61.5" at Kingvale, California.
